Dah besa anak kucing ni. Asalnye ade 3 ekor, tapi seko lagi dah menjadi penghuni tetap rumah jiran aku. 2 ekor ni lah yang akan balik bile adik aku balik kampung. Bile adik aku balik semula ke kampus, mereka akan pegi meminta belas ikhsan anak jiran aku (Nasa & Saadah). Macam la mak aku tak bagi makan. Mengade-ngade.

Masakan ni hanya akan aku rase bile balik kampung wife aku. Bukannye kat tempat lain tak leh dapat, cume rase lagi sedap bile mak mentua aku yg masak.

Barney Sudah Ketemu Tuannya

Akhirnya siap juge cupcake si Naufal nih... Setelah 1 malam berjaga sampai jam 4.00 am menyiapkan figure Barney. Memang penat la. Nak tipu pon tak gune. Tapi kepuasan tu tetap ade. Tu pon dah kire nasib baik sebab ade edible emage. Kalau tak mungkin aku kene buat 41 pcs figure Barney = 4 hari tak tido malam. He he...













Bukan susah sebenarnye nak buat figure Barney ni. Buat cam bentuk dinaso comel warne purple, senyum, dah siap. Yang susahnye tu time nak kneel dough fondant and mix color. Abih tangan warne purple.














Kek Naufal pulak terlalu tinggi. So kene pakai storage box yang ade jual kat kedai gift. Pastu kene terbalikkan kotak tu. Cover jadi base, base jadi cover. Memang lawak.













Dah la silap hantar order. Sepatutnye 16 pcs hantar pagi Ahad dan 25 pcs hantar malam Isnin coz Selasa nak buat kat skolah Naufal. Tapi dah terbalik... Nasib baik ade buat cupcake lebih. So cekgu2 Naufal dapat la individual pack yg cume ade swirl purple, flag Barney & dinaso flake. What to do.

Kini Aku Bernafas Kembali Tapi...

Setelah sekian lame (1 minggu je) kereta aku mengalami sindrom semput tahap dewa, akhirnya aku telah menghantarnya ke klinik kereta untuk dirawat. Setelah di-diagnosis, didapati penyakit tersebut berpunca dari kegagalan Ignition Coil dari berfungsi dengan baik (kurang api la).

Symptom - symptom semput tahap dewa lebih kurang cam ni la...

1. kehilangan horse power
2. RPM tinggi untuk bergerak dalam gear 1 (dah kritikal la kalau dlm semua gear)
3. jerking semasa bergerak dalam gear 5

Kerja-kerja baik pulih berjalan lancar tanpa sebarang masalah berbangkit oleh mechanic bertauliah Proton. Lebih kurang 1 jam 30 minit kemudian kereta aku dapat bernafas dangan normal kembali. Aku dapat lihat senyuman terukir pada front grill Savvy aku (sebenarnya itu adalah senyuman aku).

I feel like my wallet was glued when to be drown from the pocket at the back of my a#*. RM 973.95 will be floating in the air to the hand of smiling face casher. Argghhhh.... What to do... This car really know how to drain my pocket.

I've read a comment at Paul Tan's Automotive News and I think it really make sense. It goes like this :

"we always get the baseline models. yes, you’re right paul. unless we earn a king’s ransom and pay through our noses for imported luxury cars, majority of the middle class Malaysians will never get to feel what it’s like to drive a car with ABS, ESP, EBD, DSC etc built into it…or even the quality of the quieter ride that superior cars provide.

Maintaining the chassis shouldn’t dent revenue much, but introducing a new, more fuel efficient and powerful engine will definitely woo buyers."

Aku Hanye Seorang Back Stage Crew Di

Nampak cam senang je buat bunge gune fondant ni. Memang senang. 1 jam dapat 3 kuntum je. Dah la order yang ni nak 48 kuntum... Memang memenatkan dan frustraten nak siapkan bunge-bunge ni. Nasib baik dah plan awal-awal. So aku amik mase dalam 4 hari nak siapkan semua kuntuman manis ni.

Hari yang ditunggu dah tiba. Biasenye ini akan berlaku, 12 jam kerja tanpa henti dan tanpa tidur (terlelap ade la kejap, pastu kene sepak ngan wife aku). Lepas siapkan topping (biasanya kek dah disiapkan 2 hari awal), packing, kene plak buat delivery. Kadang-kadang customer datang amik sendiri. Kali ni nak hantar kat Melaka dan Bangi. Aduuuuuhhhh.....

Syukur semua berjalan dengan lancar. Kebetulan Isnin tak keje. Memang bantai tido la...

My Work Station

Aku bekerja di sebuah contractor company di selatan tanah air. Company ni kecik je. Dah setahun aku kerja kat sini. Bos dia ok la. Tak macam bos aku yang dulu. Staff pon tak ramai, 7 orang termasuk aku. Tapi tak lama lagi akan keluar seorang. Dia dapat offer goverment. So akan tinggal aku sorang engineer kat sini. Masssak aku....

Setiap pagi aku akan mengadap pc untuk buat BQ, design, drawing dan shhhh... surf internet gak. So kengkadang tu keluar la macam pop-out (update is ready for this computer) dari bucu seblah kanan LCD screen pc aku. Selalunye aku ignore je. Malas nak layan. Entah macam mane satu hari tu aku turut je kehendak pc aku. Aku click la "Update". Tiba-tiba pc aku memaparkan desktop cam gambar kat atas.

Ape la.... Lanun betul...

Barney Oh Barney...

Wife aku dapat order cupcake dari seorang auntie. Dia nak hadiahkan anaknya cake bertemakan Barney. Wife aku terima je tanpa membincangkan cadangannya kepada aku. Sabar...

Tempahan melibatkan 16 biji cupcake dan sebuah fondant cake yang setiap satu ada figure Barney. So aku kene buat 16 buah Barney edible figure kecik dan 1 figure Barney yang besar sikit (lebih kurang 6" tinggi) untuk fondant cake tu plak.

Auntie tu kate anak dia obses sangat dengan Barney. Sampai tido pon peluk patung Barney. "Tu yang tak sampai hati nak tolak" kate wife aku. Sekarang ni aku plak yang tak sampai hati nak tolak permintaan wife aku. Dia dah beli macam-macam yang berkenaan dengan Barney untuk reference aku. Siap beli patung Barney yang boleh menyanyi (ade mase nanti aku post-kan nyanyian dia).

Aku pun try buat figure Barney (tinggi 2"). Lama juga aku ambil masa untuk siapkan 1 figure. Result seperti gambar di bawah.

10 Kaedah Bagi Mengurangkan Kos Memandu

Kos permotoran kian meningkat saban tahun, lebih-lebih lagi semasa kenaikan harga bahan api. Walaubagaimanapun ada beberapa kaedah dimana kita dapat mengurangkat dan menjimatkan lagi kos tersebut. Berikut adalah 10 langkah mudah yang boleh anda cuba supaya anda dapat memandu lebih jauh dengan kos yang lebih rendah.

1. Dapatkan harga petrol yang paling rendah (stesen minyak berlesen)
2. Memandu dalam gear tertinggi. Memandu dalam gear rendah boleh mengakibatkan penggunaan petrol 45% lebih daripada yang diperlukan.
3. Pastikan angin tayar berada pada tekanan yang betul. Penjimatan petrol boleh ditingkat sebanyak 5% jika tayar berada pada tekanan yang betul.
4. Jangan memandu tidak menentu. Sentiasa memecut dan membrek akan menggunakan lebih banyak bahan bakar daripada pemanduan lebih selesa. Melihat dahulu untuk manjangka halangan yang mungkin mengurangkan keperluan untuk pemecahan mendadak.
5. Jimatkan wang pada insurans kereta. Cuba dapatkan sebut harga yang paling murah.
6. Mencari tempat letak kereta yang lebih murah. Cari kawasan tempat letak kereta yang lebih murah dan anda yakin kereta anda selamat. Tempat letak kereta tidak mesti mempunyai satu perkhidmatan valet; keselamatan adalah lebih penting.
7. Kereta bukan tempat berehat. Matikan enjin kenderaan anda semasa menunggu. Elakkan dari tidur di dalam kenderaan semasa enjin berjalan. Dikhuatiri akan mengalami kracunan gas.
8. Elakkan dari memandu untuk jarak yang pendak seperti di pusat bandar. Letak kederaan anda di tempat yang telah disediakan dan tuju kedai-kedai di sekitar dengan berjalan kaki.
9. Berkongsi kenderaan. Cuba bayangkan kos bahan api sebanyak RM 10.00 dibahagi kepada 4. Lebih murah dari air minuman dalam botol.
10. Tutup tingkap kenderaan anda semasa memandu. Tingkap yang terbuka semasa memandu akan menghasilkan daya rintangan yang akan menambahkan lagi penggunaan petrol.

Hampir 1 minggu kereta aku tersadai kat rumah. Gara-gara bateri kong la. Aku terpaksa bangun awal pagi untuk tumpang wife aku gi kerja. Sudah tiba masanya aku tukar bateri kereta ni. Dah la wallet tengah nipis.

for the marinade:
• 10 kaffir lime leaves, torn
• 2 thumb-sized pieces of fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
• 2 sticks of lemon grass, trimmed and roughly chopped
• 4 cloves of garlic, peeled
a bunch of fresh coriander, leaves picked
• 2 green chillies, roughly chopped
• 4 tablespoons olive oil
• juice of 2 limes

for the lamb:
• 1 x 2-2.5kg leg of lamb, butterflied (ask your butcher to do this for you)
• sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 1 x 400ml tin coconut milk
• 1 fresh red chilli, deseeded and chopped
optional: juice of 1 lime

Panduan Berguna Sebelum Memulakan Perjalanan

Aku rase aku punye travel claim cam tak berbaloi la. Wife aku slalu membebel kat aku pasal cost management aku. Company aku claim petrol gune resit, tu yang kadang-kadang underclaim je.

Tetiba je mase aku nak submit claim kat Maisara (Admin office aku dan sudah berkahwin) aku dapat idea camne nak pastikan aku tak rugi lain kali.

• Sebelum memulakan perjalanan, cari dan tentukan lokasi menggunakan peta, GPS atau Google Earth.
• Anggar jarak perjalanan
• Anggar kos bahan api yang akan digunakan .

i.e ; RM 0.50/km
Jarak perjalanan = 80 km
Kos bahan api = 80 km x RM 0.50
= RM 40.00

• Pilih laluan terpendek dan elakkan laluan sesak.
• Pastikan kenderaan dalam keadaan baik.
• Pakai tali pinggang keledar sebelum memandu.
• Isi minyak di stesen minyak yang berhampiran dengan jumlah yang telah dianggarkan. Jangan lupa ambil resit.
• Hantar resit isian petrol anda dengan nota kilometer dan nombor kenderaan pada resit tersebut

Bile aku bukak pintu office... ni la yg aku nampak

Orang lain buat blog, aku pon nak buat blog gak. Suke suke je. Lantak la ape orang nak kate. Tapi aku harap posting aku ni bukan sekadar suke-suke. Harap-harap dapat memberi input untuk dikongsi bersama.

Name Cupcake For Him ni aku pilih sebab banyak bende tersirat dalamnya. Sesuatu yang manis, special, unik, menarik dan kadang kala memenatkan bagi seorang lelaki. Aku belajar banyak benda dari cupcake nih. Kesabaran, kerja keras, team work, dan tanggungjawab adalah inti dalam setiap cawan yang akan dimakan oleh semua orang.

Memang memenatkan. Samalah seperti hidup ini juga. Dari penat itu lah datang sabar. Dan dari sabar itu pasti datang kejayaan.
